A road roller is a compactor-type engineering vehicle used to compact soil, gravel, concrete, or asphalt in the construction of roads and foundations. Similar rollers are used also at landfills or in agriculture.
The road roller / compactor is used to compact various construction materials such as non-cohesive soil, sandy soil, graves, macadam aggregate mixtures. The road rollers / compactors are used to compact asphalt road, concrete road, sports venue built, project building, community road, village highway, underground garage, playground and all kinds of groove earthwork backfill.
Types of Road Roller:
1,Single Drum Roller
Due to their smaller size, these rollers can work in tighter spaces and more specialized projects, and for buildings and paving highways or sidewalks they are great for creating foundations.
2,Double Drum Roller
Operate best on flat services or ones with gradual grading, but are not recommended for anything specialized because they have very little traction.
3,Cylindrical Rollers
For small and private projects such as yard work, cylindrical rollers are mainly used and they are generally made of iron, stone, or concrete and are typically 1 meter in diameter.
4,Vibratory Roller
In applications with granular base layers these rollers are mainly used and some time in highway construction they are also used in laying asphalt. 5,Grid Rollers With little kneading action on compaction work, the grid design on the cylinder drum produces a high contact pressure and on well-graded, coarse soils, weathered rocks and for sub-grade and sub-base road constructions, they are most suitable.
6,Pneumatic Rollers
For pavements, they are typically used and can help smooth out and polish a project and for cold-laid bituminous or cold mixed pavements and layers of loose soil, they are also great.
7,Sheepsfoot Rollers This type of road roller is used in any projects with wet clay or other fine-grained soils at great depths and by sheepsfoot rollers you can finish off areas compacted.

4. What's the shipping way and delivery time?
A: Normally by Sea, FOB (QingDao), CFR, CIF, taking 20-50 days according to your address and order quantity after the ship leaves China. If urgent, Air shipping for small machine, taking 5-15 days according to your details.
5. What if we want it to be delivered to my door?
A: Of course, it can be. If you're quite closed to the port, we recommend you to pick it up directly, you will save A LOT OF Money in this way!!! If not so closed, we recommend you to find an Inland Transportation Company by yourself to handle the import procedures, we will assist him at the same time; we can also find an agency for you, but we don't recommend it because the toll will be very high, not cost-efficient. During the assistance, we will not charge any Intermediate fees or additional service fees other than the freight.
